You are not your thoughts
But you readily identify with them
We all do
It is human nature
But what if our random thoughts
Are just our subconscious mind
Sorting through, resorting and organising itself
We know it does this during sleep
As neurons fire and rewire
They make new connections
Not always in a way we understand
But what if our random thoughts
Are the subconscious mind
Dreaming whilst we are awake Maybe then We wouldn’t take them all so seriously
