We take another hit.
We’ll sleep well tonight. They won’t.
Do we continue to ignore the consequences of our actions, of their deeds.
We see it in every essence of what we do. And yet we preach prosperity.
And yet no one prospers. Not in this war.
Sometimes the things that are calling you are unanswered. And you feel it, don’t you?
You know when you didn’t pull on that thread. And it didn’t lead you nowhere.
Not even somewhere better.
How could I leave this world alone?
Where is its guardianship? This great protector of ours.
Look what we’ve done to you. They call it progress.
