We are what we are, if only we could be happy with that
It was good, and then it went away. It does that.
The darkness creeps in and spoils an almost alright time.
My feet ache, and I haven’t been anywhere. It makes me feel like I am an old man. And I’m not, not quite.
Does it get better, with time? Do we know who we are? Will we even be the same?
I have lived many lives over. All of them the same.
You have got to fight those demons. They will seek you out. they do me.
