I am lucky enough to have lived to the ripe old age of 21 before the internet became a thing, along with mobile phones.
I remember a time before now.
I am not saying it was better, but it certainly didn’t feel worse.
I must be careful I don’t get lost in nostalgia only to rose tint the memory.
The benefits of this world, what we have at our fingertips, Gods could only dream of in the not-too-distant past.
But is this illusion of freedom worth giving up our lives for?
Is the knowledge worth it? Apples become bitter with age.
Time will tell.
If we have any left.
